Caliber is a free online multiplayer third-person shooter video game wherein you must work together with other players in becoming elite soldiers. Developed by 1C Game Studios, this 3D action-packed strategy game is a team-based tactical shooter title. It features frenetic battles and various game modes to keep you on your toes.

With various playable classes and characters to choose from, Caliber allows you to find a fun playstyle while still contributing to your team’s efforts in-game. Form teams of four and conquer the battlefield

Unlike other similar shooter games, Caliber features playable characters called Operators. These units each have their own identities regarding team roles, weapons, and abilities. With only four members in each fireteam, you have to maximize the skills of your Operator and contribute to the overall team effort. There are four main roles available in the game: Medic, Marksman, Assault, and Support.  

Gameplay-wise, tactical warfare is the main appeal of this title and you can experience it from a high-stakes third-person point of view. The various maps provide ample cover and confrontation points between enemy teams. The different game modes also ensure that you can keep polishing your skills online. These three main modes are PvP, PvE, and PvPvE — which pit you against both real people and AI opponents. 

Packaged with gorgeous 3D graphics, this game can rival some of the best online shooters around. It also helps that it’s free-to-play and you only need to register on its official website to start playing. Although, while fun and obviously modern, the gameplay also tends to be a little too violent or cruel. This aspect makes it not advisable for a younger audience to play.

Nevertheless, Caliber is still a gem among the numerous online modern shooter games. While it can get a bit too violent for the younger ones to play, it still has solid gameplay that is endearing to shooter game veterans and beginners.
